RHS Chelsea Flower Show is nuts, in a good way.

Me on my first day on site. Notice how fresh and not exhausted I look.
This is the St James Piccadilly Garden. The scale of it blew my tiny little mind.
Speaking of mind blown. They painted the RHS letters green.
The multi-stemmed trees in the NGS Garden. Very nice.
Harry Holding showing kids from the Sulivan School round the garden they designed together. Getting to go down the slide was the highlight of the show for me.
Cathy Johns is a RHS Chelsea regular. She got all the acolades she deserved this year. What a woman. You should see her boss her family around as they put together the display.
The girls from Moreton Morell College brushing moss like that’s a normal thing people do.
James Whiting is a lovely, funny guy and his retro house plant studio was amazing. If you like orange. I didn’t think I did, but I loved this.
Fancy a dip? Tom Bannister designed this plunge pool in his balcony garden for a gardener to soak their tired muscles at the end of the day. I want one.

Can’t be long now before he brings a garden of his own to RHS Chelsea. 
Esta, who looks after the floristry for the Show, has always wanted to do the letters in  peonies. She’s right it works.

Remember me in that first photo? All fresh and relaxed? Well this is me the DAY BEFORE press day. The show hadn’t even begun and I already look like I’ve just escaped from a well.
The corporate partnership team are so cool and gorgeous. I love Vic and Sophia. Look at me trying to fit in with the popular girls.
These guys popped by, they were really into it. Chatting to all the designers.
The first Environmental Innovation Award. A LOT of work went into this behind the scenes to make the gardens as sustainable as possible.
Amy and Natalie- the best goddam garden writers in the business
Human donut rack is a greatly underestimated talent.
I followed Keith Weed handing out the awards in the Floral Marquee. Mostly chatting to his wife who was charming. This is Lara Thorpe winning Florist of the Year. Her mum was in absolute floods. We all were.
She Grows Veg are incredible. They’ve barely been going a year!
Chelsea Late was a lot of fun.
Of course I nabbed a floral crown
